Just checking in

I started this Blog then forgot about it.
Evidently, I would be only writing to myself- no one ever seems to read it. Or if they do, they don't ever leave a message.
Since I started this Blog I have lost a dear sister. She died on May1st. She was a Kidney Dialysis patient . She had been on Dialysis 3 times a week for the past 3 years. It was hard seeing her go through all the pain and the loss of a quality life. I miss her so very much.
I am busy with all my crafts that I sell on my 3 e-commerce sites---eBay, Etsy, and Ecrater.
They say a blog helps with promotion, but if no one ever visits it- I don't see how it can help much.
Later.

  1. Bettye,

Sorry to hear about your sister. I myself am extremely close with mine, and that would tear me apart.

On a lighter note, what other types of arts and crafts do you do other than the cups (which I love by the way). I read the post saying no one seems to read it, and wanted to let you know that I did!! lol

  2. Hey Crystal, I can't believe someone actually found my blog and left me a message.
I created this thing the best I could and then just left it since I have no idea how to manage it. My sister said it is just a journal for me to write my thought and show my crafts- which is what I actually wanted to do.

I do all kinds of arts and crafts. You can go to my Etsy Store- (www.DustandClay.etsy.com) and see lots of things.
Etsy is a handcrafted site. I love selling there. But we have to promote ourselves. That is one reason why I did this blog.

I also sell on eBay, and (www.somethingpretty.ecrater.com)

Do you have a blog? If so send me the link please. You can attach it to my blog if you wish. I would love to see yours. Maybe you can send me some pointers on making mine look a little less generic.
    Thanks again for your visit.
Hope to hear from you again.
    Bettye

  4. Just wanted to say I am sorry to hear about your sister. This must be a difficult time for you.

I was blog-tagged along with you -- so this is what brought me here to your site. I know what you mean about writing to yourself since I hardly ever get comments on mine since I started in April. But I suppose as time goes by things will change.

    Good luck.

  5. I am so very sorry for your loss and pain. I think your working on your crafts and blogging will help you, perhaps you could write about something that your sister loved or enjoyed or would want for you.
